Commercial Insurance Broker - Account Director

Responsibilities, your role.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and potential clients.
  • Identify and seize sales opportunities.
  • Propose insurance solutions tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Develop business development strategies to stimulate portfolio growth.
  • Ensure regular follow-up with clients to guarantee their satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide consistent and quality service.

Requirements, your profil.

  • Hold a broker’s license in commercial insurance.
  • Have more than 5 years of experience in business development.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional mastery of French and English (written, spoken, reading).
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in technological tools, particularly the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Asset: knowledge of Epic (Applied) and Policy Work (CRM) software.

Commercial Insurance Broker - Account Manager
We're looking for an experienced commercial insurance account manager who can work closely with our team of brokers, clients and partners. Your role will be essential in guaranteeing superior service and optimizing the management of customer portfolios. If you're a self-starter, resourceful, efficient and curious, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, this is the role for you !

Responsibilities, your role.

  • Technical service: insurance certificates, endorsements, short-term modifications, review of quotations, etc.
  • Comparative analysis of insurance policies and quotes.
  • Handling current requests: policy renewals, information gathering, presentation to insurers and risk placement, follow-up with customers on renewals.
  • Communication with insurers: sending insurance applications, endorsements, etc.
  • Other related duties: various tasks related to servicing the company’s commercial customers in support of the account manager.

Requirements, your profil.

  • Hold a commercial-lines damage insurance brokerage licence from the AMF.
  • College diploma.
  • More than 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of commercial general insurance products.
  • Willingness to participate in strategic company discussions: opportunities, challenges, process improvements, etc.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Impeccable French and English (written, oral and reading).
  • At ease with technological tools, particularly Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
